Banner of the Art Alley
Art Alley (旧芸術通り, Kyū Geijutsudōri) is an area of the Jail found in Mary Skelter 2. It is the dungeon for Chapter 6 of the game and introduces the Blood Maidens Thumbelina, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty to the group.
Appearance[]
Despite Otsuu not playing a large role in the dungeon or originating from it, the Art Alley seems to be themed around her, as it features Japanese symbolism with its paper walls, ink-drawn cranes, and general architecture with the O. Nightmare even being named after her. It has a fairly diverse color palette, featuring light blue, orange, white, and red. Its music features traditional Japanese instruments and creates a somewhat ominous tone.
Strategy[]
There are many traps and puzzles that litter the dungeon, requiring Gretel, Rapunzel, Kaguya, Thumbelina, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty's Blood Abilities. Small gaps, pull-down platforms, damaging doors, differing key sizes, bombable walls, and button switches are its main gimmicks. However, as Snow White and Sleeping Beauty aren't available until over halfway through the dungeon, some backtracking may be required in order to find some of the secrets and shortcuts. Additionally, some doors can only be opened with paintings that can be found on the same floor, with some needing to be shrunk by Thumbelina.
