Charlotte is a Blood Maiden who appears in Mary Skelter: Finale.
Profile[]
Charlotte is a Blood Maiden who formerly resided inside the Liberated District alongside Mary. Though she — like Mary — does not join up with the Dawn, she is still able to "see" them from afar, and knows everything that happens regarding them throughout the events of Mary Skelter: Nightmares.
Personality[]
Charlotte is rather kind and outgoing. She treats everyone around her with affection, especially Alice and Mary, doting on Alice and offering comfort in the form of hugs to Mary whenever she deems necessary or at Mary's request. Despite her kind and caring attitude, she seems to somewhat lack social awareness, as when she openly revealed some personal secrets of her other party members, and is also seemingly oblivious to Mary's true feelings towards her.
Story[]
Mary Skelter: Finale Prologue[]
Initially, Charlotte, like many other children, did not know her name, but noted that she felt remarkably different from them. As a child, she could see various character's stories, with Red Riding Hood and Cinderella being the most frequent, but can also see Little Mermaid as well. She also was the first to surmise that Thumbelina, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty were Blood Maidens as well with this ability.
Charlotte begins to question whether or not she is a Blood Maiden, as no one else seems to have this ability, but realizes that she couldn't be because she doesn't have a name, while all other Blood Maidens instantly recognize theirs. So she resigns herself to the role of bystander.
Mary Skelter: Finale[]
| “ | A mysterious girl who lived with Mary in the Liberated District. For some reason, she seems intimately familiar with Jack and the Blood Maidens, aware of secrets only they would know. Although she is aware of her identity as a Blood Maiden, she chose not to join the Dawn, opting instead to live in hiding with Mary. After the vicious Massacre Pink attack, she joins Mary and Alice on their quest to find their lost friends. | ” |
—In-Game Profile | ||
After the Dawn's escape from the Underground Jail, she and Mary venture up to the surface, and encounter Massacre Pink. Though she and Mary are largely ignored, they still end up warped to the Judgment Tower alongside Jack, Alice, Otsuu, and Little Mermaid. Though they are initially separated, they join up once the group reaches the Eiserne Tower.

Trivia[]
- While it is unknown what her fairy tale is, the small rabbit on the end of her weapon and rabbit ear-like ribbon on the back of her head hint that she might be the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland or the White Jade Rabbit from Chinese folklore. If the rabbit link is more tenuous, then she could be the Chinese moon goddess, Chang'e, who lived with the White Jade Rabbit.
- Her name comes from Alice's sister in :Alice in Wonderland: named Lorina Charlotte Liddell.
- Her design and aesthetic can also be a reference to the Grimm fairy tale The Rabbit's Bride, due to her rabbit-like design.
- From her Job's title Storyteller and her inability to "recognize" her own name, most probably she's not a "character" but is still somehow related to fairy tales: Lady Charlotte Guest
