Chiaki, generally referred to by his title of Hitsuka in Mary Skelter: Nightmares, is the advisor of Lady Michiru and a member of the Order of the Sun. He appears in the Mary Skelter 2 Prologue Short Story.
Profile[]
Chiaki serves as the aide to Lady Michiru, or rather he serves as the de facto leader given Michiru's... personality. While generally no-nonsense and quite serious in any interactions, they tend to get thrown out the window the moment Michiru affectionately calls him "Chii". The familiarity mainly stems from the fact the two of them are siblings, though Chiaki prefers that this sort of information be kept secret from the Order's faithful.

Mary Skelter 2[]
Chiaki is dead long before the beginning of the game. His interactions with Otsuu cause him to become suspicious of the Dawn and thus he begins his own investigations into the Jail, one of which results in his death. The Order suspects Cinderella, a Blood Maiden from the Dawn, was the culprit, causing tensions between the two organizations.

After the attack from Massacre Pink, the burden on Chiaki was lifted, causing him to become less diligent. He ends up in a group with Mary, Charlotte, Alice, and Yuto Gato.
Relationships[]
- Otsuu: When he first meets Otsuu as children, he thought she was a boy, and told her that she can confide in him at any time. This attitude did not change when he found out the truth and took on a big brother role for her, even going so far as to tell her his plans at her behest.
- Michiru: He is very protective of his older sister. Due to her strange and enigmatic way of speaking, Chiaki often takes control of any situation that she is a part of, eventually becoming the leader of the Order of the Sun while she remained the symbol for it.
- Jack: He is initially very distrusting of Jack, doing his best to keep Michiru away from him. However, Michiru often finds a way to Jack despite this, and Chiaki gradually lowers his guard around him.
- Thumbelina, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty: He was initially childhood friends of the three before the Order of the Sun was created. They had lived at the same orphanage before the three were found to be Blood Maidens. After the Order was created, Chiaki's demeanor towards the three becomes colder and more professional, but he still wants the best for them.

- He heavily references The Blue Bird. He represents play's hero, Tyltyl, who is the brother to the heroine Mytyl, who Michiru reflects.
- He shares his English voice actor, Sean Chiplock, with Mamoru.
- The kanji for his name (千昭) means "thousand shining."
- While there are no clear references from his name, it could be from his high standing with the Order.
