Dawn

Dawn, also known as the "Dawn Liberation Force", is a group of humans and Blood Maidens who have banded together to break out from the Jail. They are the protagonists' allies in the Mary Skelter series.

Overview[]

Mary Skelter: Nightmares[]

The Dawn is composed of Blood Maidens who act as the frontliners against the Marchens and Nightmares, and the humans who support them. Their headquarters is located within the Liberated District, where they and other human escapees seek refuge and, eventually, escape from the Jail.

The original Dawn was composed entirely of humans who forged the Liberated District, but all members save the Professor died in Snark's attack 15 years prior to the start of the game. After that, the Professor discovered Red Riding Hood as the first Blood Maiden, and then got the idea to form a "Blood Team" of them to fight the Marchens.

Mary Skelter 2[]

The Dawn suffered an unfortunate annihilation early in the game, resulting in the deaths of all human members and scattering the Blood Maidens across the Jail. Otsuu and Little Mermaid rally a band of survivors, who create the New Liberated District from a ruin Hameln made her home in.

In contrast to the rigorous, almost military-like structure of Nightmares' Dawn, the Dawn of Mary Skelter 2 is much more informal, with members treating each other more like family members than coworkers.
