Mary is a Blood Maiden who is introduced in Mary Skelter: Finale.
Profile[]
Her team consists of herself, Charlotte, Alice, and Chiaki. She had lived in the Liberated District along with Charlotte during Mary Skelter: Nightmares, but chose not to join the Dawn, citing her lack of power and unwillingness to work.
Personality[]
Mary is rather introverted and somewhat shy. She generally does not like to work similarly to Kaguya, and enjoys solitude. Mary has a strong attachment to Charlotte, as she was the only individual capable of perceiving her during her time in the Liberated District. Though the two are revealed to be sisters in the ending to Mary Skelter: Finale, her attitude towards Charlotte for the majority of the game seems to imply Mary had romantic feelings for Charlotte.
Mary enjoys being alone, and often uses her special matches to summon up scenarios she imagines or can be seen muttering to herself as she plays out a scenario in her head.

| “ | A girl with no presence who was raised in the Liberated District and lived there at the same time as Jack and Alice. She spends most of her time in solitude. She resides in the safety of her mind, lighting her special matches to summon phantoms from her imagination. From her loneliness, she has cultivated self-reliance and a reserved optimism, preferring her own mind over the company of other. The other exception to this is Charlotte, her dear friend who named and acknowledged her when no one else did in the Liberated District. They have a charming, but peculiar, friendship. | ” |
—In-Game Profile | ||
Mary is a Blood Maiden who lived inside the Liberated District during the time of Mary Skelter: Nightmares. As normal individuals seemingly were unable to perceive her, she went largely unnoticed by many people in the Liberated District. She directly opts not to join up with Dawn and the other Blood Maidens, choosing to remain in solitude. It is said she spent most of her time alongside Charlotte, a fellow Blood Maiden, who was the only person that was able to see her. After Dawn's escape from the Underground Jail, she heads to the surface with Charlotte purely due to the fact there would no longer be any place from which to source food and other necessities.
Following the Blood Team's encounter with Massacre Pink upon reaching the surface, she joins up with Jack, Alice, Otsuu, and Little Mermaid after being warped to the Judgment Tower by Hikari and encountering them upon reaching the Eiserne Tower.
Always at Mary's feet is a "servant" she manifested by manipulating the Jail's Mimicry through the use of one of her matches. The servant appears to fight for Mary, and she uses it to assist her in certain tasks.
In Chapter 5 of Mary Skelter: Finale, Yuto Gato reveals that much like Otsuu in Mary Skelter 2, Mary has used Witchcraft numerous times in the past to continuously "reset" the world, following the death of Alice and the "unraveling" of Charlotte's mind. Though Mary herself does not remember doing so, she says that she would happily create a new world just for Charlotte.

Trivia[]
- Mary's character is based on the fairy tale written by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen, The Little Match Girl, though her name is taken from Alice's sister in "Alice in Wonderland", Edith Mary Liddell.
- In Mary's only event in Mary Skelter: Locked Up In Love True End, Chiaki is compiling the history of the Jail into a story and is struggling to find a name for it. Chiaki brings up the working title of "Blood Skelter", and Mary takes the opportunity to suggest it be titled "Mary Skelter". Chiaki, taking her suggestion, titles it "Mary Skelter: Nightmares", hence the name of the series.
- Mary was originally intended to be introduced in Mary Skelter 2, but was excluded for unknown reasons.
