Pyre is a former member of Massacre Pink. She is a Blood Maiden who teams up with the members of Dawn after being warped to the Licard Tower by Hikari.
Profile[]
Similarly to the rest of the Execution Girls, Pyre is based off a method of execution/torture, mostly having to do with fire and being burned at the stake.
She is the youngest and weakest member of Massacre Pink, she shows hesitation with killing people and is notably far less skilled in combat compared to her sisters.
After she is inadvertently warped to the Licard Tower by Hikari, she teams up with Rapunzel. Sleeping Beauty, as well as Clara and her party.
Her Blood Libido gives her a desire to kill people, which while directly conflicting with her regular personality she manages to suppress quite well.

| “ | Known to some as "Pi," she is the youngest member of Massacre Pink, a murderous girl gang that rules the surface. She is petulant and inexperienced, leading her to overcompensate with a bratty attitude when frustrated. In truth, she has no taste for murder, and feels sympathy for those affected by Massacre Pink's violent rampages, much to the chagrin of her sisters. | ” |

During Riley and Ellie, a younger Guillotine is shown cornering them and capturing a young girl known as Rachel. Just before the final chapter, it is revealed that Gallows was masquerading as an adult Rachel, and she also reveals that Pyre was actually the young Rachel from back then.
In the Mary Skelter Finale Prequel, it is shown that Yuto Gato developed a method to convert human girls into Blood Maidens, with Rachel/Pyre being his first successful attempt.
Despite no longer having any memory relating to her past life as Rachel, she still has an attachment to Riley and Ellie, and seems to still consider them her sisters.

Trivia[]
- Her name means "fire pillar."
- She has the Japanese character for fire (火, Hi) on both her knees and the roman numeral IV on her collar.
- Pyre is named "Shira" in Japanese, which is a shortened version of the Japanese term "Hiaburihashira" (火あぶり柱, rough translation: Burning Pillar), which is an execution method involving combustion or exposure to extreme heat. It has a long history as a form of capital punishment, and many societies have employed it for criminal activities such as treason, heresy and witchcraft. The best-known execution of this type is burning at the stake, where the condemned is bound to a large wooden stake and a fire lit beneath them.
